The dry walling for the 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs is finshed. There's also a built in cupboard around the flue. Next up is taping and filling.

The palster board has been put in upstairs except for the ingoes.

A busy weekend. The upstairs waste pipe and vent stack was fitted and the insulation was finshed on both upstairs gables. The selkirk flue was also installed from roof to above where the stove will go. The scaffolding on the southside was taken down.

The lead flashing was put on the roof today and the final line of slates stuck down. It was so cold that a blow torch was needed just to make the lead malleable. 10 slates have been blown off since the slating was completed, the ones that were found were used once more. The completed ridge line should stop them blowing off again.
