The H & C water and the radiator runs are being placed in the eaves to be covered over. The runs are straightforward but they all need lagged as they are effectivley on the outside of the house, outside the insulation. 29 March 2008
Manifold adjustment
This is what happens when manifolds go in the wrong place. In this case it was 150mm out but the 'adjustment' still needed a week of concrete chipping to get in on the right side of the partition. Ho hum. 29 March 2008
Heat pump positioning
The heat pump has been moved to its final location. It may look the size of a fridge but it's a lot heavier. Also this weekend the 100 litre buffer tank was connected and the manifold (this time on the right side of the wall) was hooked up again. The subsequent pressure test failed. 16 March 2008
Plumbing
The 4x22mm pipe runs for the plumbing are being run along the bay. The soil pipes are also being added in. All pipes need to be insualted as this part of the house will be on the outside of the insulated section. 08 March 2008
